Carey is the newest Property Manager to join the Altamus team in 2022. She brings over 17 years of Real Estate experience. She is a licensed Real Estate Agent who has worked in many facets of the industry including residential resale, new construction homes, and investment properties. She has over a decade of Residential and Commercial Property Management experience, ranging from Director of Operations for a Commercial Office Space startup to HOA and Apartment Management. She is skilled in sales, budgeting, vendor management, and problem-solving and consistently adds value to every property she oversees. She has a history of breaking records and exceeding expectations. She is driven to provide the best possible outcomes for her clients.
Prior to Real Estate, she worked in Human Resource Management as well as in the Social Work realm, where she provided 24/7 Crisis Intervention to troubled youth. Her unique combination of experiences has provided her with a strong sense of customer service, professionalism, positivity, and teamwork. Originally from Michigan, Carey moved to North Carolina in 1998 and immediately fell in love with the Blue Ridge Mountains. She spends her time hiking waterfalls, swing dancing, volunteering, and exploring the area.
