Amanda Fannasy Newsome joined Altamus in May 2022 as the Property Coordinator. Amanda earned her Master of Business Administration MBA, and Bachelor of Science in Communications, specializing in Computer Information Systems from Appalachian State University. Her background includes Organizational Development, Project Management, Accounting, Asset Management, Change Management, and Quality Continuous Improvements.
With 25+ years of experience across multiple industries and organizations, Amanda brings excellent communication skills and problem-solving strengths, which are valuable to the dynamic services efficiently executed on behalf of our Managed Properties. Her greatest assets are her positive energy and work ethic, which she brings in support of the Property Management and Accounting Teams.
When Amanda is not in the office, she enjoys spending time with her husband and 2 boys. The family loves hiking, swimming, fishing, camping, riding bikes, and grilling out in the mountains or at the beach. When she is not with her boys, she loves to go to music festivals with her girlfriends or catch a great movie.
