With over 25 years real estate experience, Amber is a Senior Property Manager at Altamus. In her role, she oversees operations, residential relationships and tenant matters for the historic Grove Arcade and other HOA properties. Her expertise includes previous positions as Regional Manager with ConAm Management, Vice President of Marketing and Training at Fore Property Company, and Director of Business Development at Gables Residential. Amber’s real estate industry knowledge transcends multiple geographic locations and industry sectors. Her career pursuits have led to successful assignments in dynamic metros like Washington D.C and Las Vegas.
The scope of her proficiency includes mixed-use property management, Class-A lease-up, asset repositioning, corporate education, real estate centric social media marketing & branding and residential business development. Amber attended the University of Tennessee, receiving a B.A. in Political Science and Spanish. She earned a Master’s in International Relations and joint degree MBA from American University. Amber holds the industry esteemed Certified Property Manager (CPM®) designation from the Institute of Real Estate Management (IREM®) and has been recognized by Multi-Housing News to write industry editorials for Units Magazine. This Asheville native enjoys spending time with her 17-year old son and tries to keep up with two playful dogs.
